Clean up at UNCW Continues

Hurricane Florence caused more than $75 million in damage at UNC Wilmington. “This is a multi-billion dollar disaster for our state,” said North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. “We know we’re going to have to have significant federal help.”

Meanwhile, students will have longer classes to make up for the lost days of instruction due to Hurricane Florence. Yesterday, the UNC Board of Governors approved a waiver to add 150 to 200 minutes of lost class time.
